What we can fix.

No Power.

No power is usually caused by a logic board issue, especially after liquid damage. The trackpad or keyboard can also keep the device from turning on if they fail.

Not Charging.

No charging issues can be caused by both the logic board or the battery. Some devices are more prone to charging issues after liquid damage due to the location of the battery charge controller on the board.

No Backlight.

Typically with no backlight issues, you will be able to see the screen if you shine a light through the apple logo on the back of the display. No backlight issues are especially common on 2013-2017 MacBook Air devices.

No Image.

No image can be caused by both the logic board or the display itself. Typically with image issues, you will still hear the startup chime, but you will not be able to see a image at all, even when shining a light through the apple logo on the back of the screen.

Trackpad and keyboard not working.

On most newer MacBooks the keyboard is controlled by the trackpad. Keyboard and trackpad issues can be caused by a issue with the trackpad and keyboard, or the logic board.

Liquid Damage.

Liquid damage is the ultimate nightmare for any electronic device. The good news is, we can fix your device and make it like the spill never even happened!

Services

MacBook Logic Board Repair

TCRS Circuit is a industry leader when it comes to MacBook logic board repair. We can solve most logic board issues including, but not limited to no power, no backlight, no image, random crashing and more!

MacBook Liquid Damage Repair

Extensive liquid damage Not a problem! We specialize in MacBook Liquid Damage Repair and can repair liquid damaged logic boards for much less than the cost of full board replacement.

MacBook Data Recovery

Data recovery on the older MacBooks use to be as simple as removing the hard drive or solid state drive. It isn’t as simple on the newer 2016 - present devices as the storage devices are soldered to the motherboard. That doesn’t stop us though.

How do I send a device in for repair?

Its simple. The first step is to create a new repair ticket so we can get your contact info and know what is going on with your device. You can do that here or scroll down to the "Start a new ticket" option. All address and relevant shipping info is on the "Start a new ticket" page. After you submit a ticket, package the device and ship it off via UPS or FedEx. We do not recommend you use USPS to ship the device to us. Make sure the device is packed securely. You should have at least a couple inches of bubble wrap or packing peanuts around the entire device. Don't send the device in a box you want back.

How long do repairs take?

Usually between 3-7 days for logic board and liquid damage repairs. Some repairs are completed the day the device arrives. Some devices really throw us through a loop and can take longer.

Is there a attempt fee for unrepairable devices?

We do not charge attempt or bench fees for any unrepairable devices unless they have had a previous logic board repair attempt. Simply put, some repair stores send us repairs that they have worked on prior, and made the original issue far worse than if they had just left it alone. If you attempt to repair a board first, and end up making the issue worse, there is a $55 attempt fee.

Can I send just the board?

No. We need the entire device for diagnostic and testing purposes. You'd be surprised how many issues are actually caused by a simple issue inside the enclosure of the machine such as a corroded trackpad cable.

Important Notice

There is a $55.00 per device assessment fee on wholesale/business to business repairs that would apply should you decline the repair quote.

We no longer accept devices with previous board repair attempts for repair. If you have a device with a previous board repair attempt, we may still be able to help you for data recovery purposes only. Contact us prior to creating a ticket. Pricing for data recovery cases with a previous repair attempt is decided on a case by case basis after assessment.

We do not accept devices that are sent disassembled for repair. If you send in a device that is disassembled, it will be processed for return shipping. Please ensure that the device you are sending for repair is completely assembled.
